Random thoughts I had today...
First of all... I feel as if my blog is too plain. Like, I see other people's blog and they are so much more elaborate with pictures and what not and cutesy fonts or whatever, but mine is just the same font, same size, same everything. It's kind of annoying. This is why I did this font bigger! SEE ME NOW! ;)
Okay that big font was too much for me, so we're back to normal. Someday, I will get creative enough to figure things out. Someday...
Next... I use Facebook! Okay, let me rephrase, I LIVE on Facebook! But sometimes I wonder how many people are just like me and can't live without their computers or social networking. (I also, use blogger and twitter too!) Also, I wonder about those who don't have Facebook, like my cousin for example, she doesn't have Facebook! Sarah I do not know how you could not have Facebook, it is awesome. But seriously, Facebook for other people is used differently than I use it. Basically, I'll admit it... I am a Facebook stalker. If you put up a picture or an album, trust me it is going to get stalked. Chris and I call my "stalking" doing my "dailies". If you're a WoW freak, (which I don't think any of my followers are, so I'll just tell you) there's special tasks/missions/whatevers to complete and you have to do them daily or they reset or something or other (I never played WoW, Chris just told me one day when he was that he had to do his "dailies") soooo... if I don't do these "dailies" they don't necessarily reset, they just become old news. For example, say someone posted a status right now about something crazy weird but I didn't get on Facebook till next Tuesday... that is OLD news and no one gives a crap about the status OR my comment. Hence the reason why I try to stay up to date with my friends on Facebook. Same goes with Twitter too. Twitter is easier to do dailies on cause there's not as many people, and I don't have 500+ followers there as I do on Facebook. WOW, anyways, back to my real thought, see that's what I get for thinking, I go off on these tangents about nothing. Anywho... Facebook is different for some than it is for me. I have friends that I have forgotten if we are even friends anymore, then WHAM, out of the darkness here they come with a status update a month after they had last got on. Then I remember, "Oh yeah, I AM friends with her!" I could never do that and don't even ask me to try.
Well, that was what I was thinking today. Also, how could a person NOT get on their computer to Facebook? Facebook on your phone all the time, MAN... I would hate that... also, I would hate my phone bill since I'd be on Facebook 24/7 if I had it on my phone!
All this talk about Facebook makes me want to watch The Social Network again. Funny? Oh yes!

INTERVENTION
I have a problem... I am addicted to buying gum!!! Count 'em... 14 packs and 15 sticks! Oh yeah, and I have a pack of juicy fruit in my car too! So that makes 15 packs!!!
Is your favorite kind there???
Ok- so maybe my last post makes me sound like a brat. So I apologize! That is one thing I am really struggling with, speaking my mind but coming across as a brat. I am grateful for all of my friends and acquaintances I've made over the course of my days! I am just very confused as to why it seems to me as they aren't as grateful for me. That is just my personal opinion, because maybe when I lived in Orem, I never had time for my friends because I worked a lot and was so caught up in my long distance relationship working out that I couldn't take time for friends that mattered the most to me.
And maybe I will never know why friends grow apart, and maybe that is just a fact of life. Friends will grow apart at some time and we may not know why or how but they do. Someday I'll understand this concept more fully.
I apologize for my last post if I may have offended anyone or made them feel less of a friend to me, because that is NOT true. You all are my friends and you've been great examples to me. Thanks so much!

Remember when....
People used to blog all the time and now they don't?! -I do!
People used to text me asking me what's up, wanting to hang out, or how I was doing?! -I do!
People would WANT to talk to me on Facebook and now I have over 500 friends and talk to maybe 15-20ish, MAYBE?! -I do!
People would call me and we'd just talk on the phone for hours about the most random stuff and we'd always vent about things that were bothering us or frustrating us?! -I do!
Man, it's a crazy busy life we live in now a days. Don't you think? There's Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, texting, IM-ing, chat rooms, and so much more! But that's just technology type things! Then you get work, school, sports, relationships, roomates, laundry, shopping, cleaning, and so much more after that.
But why is it that NOW I don't have those little conversations that I once had with my closest friends? Was it because I got a boyfriend? Was it because I moved home and I'm not right there in Orem waiting to hang out with them? Was it because I changed my lifestyle and stopped partying and doing things I wasn't supposed and have gone back to church and love the calling I have? It could be so many things but honestly, why? Why did things have to change? Have *I* changed?
I guess basically what I'm saying is, I miss my friends. I miss knowing what's going on in their lives. I miss the times we had together going to movies, lunch, dinner, parties, or anything else. I've, of course, made new friends... but what ever happened to the friends I had a year ago? A month ago? 5 years ago? Am I missing something?
I hope this is just a phase I'm going through, a learning experience.
I heard a quote once, "Friends come and go, but family is always constant." Maybe my family just needs to be my friends. I'm seeing this quote more true in my life as of late, sad but true.
