The update everyone has been waiting for....

No, I'm not engaged, pregnant, or got married over the weekend. BUT, it is very big news. Especially if you are my friend. :) Because this economy sucks so bad and times are tough for me, I have fasted, pondered, and prayed about moving home and got my confirmation yesterday that moving home was the right decision for me at this time in my life. I knew that I wanted to move home because I couldn't pay my rent up here BUT I didn't feel like it was the right thing for me, but then I fasted and prayed about it yesterday and now I KNOW that moving home will be the best thing for me.

Now, for all of my friends and family that live up in Utah, Salt Lake, and whatever other county that is closer to Orem than Oak City, this is NOT the end. I still love the big city and will be coming up almost bi-weekly to hang out. Be warned. I still want to have a social life but I can't really afford to pay $300 for rent right now, but I will still come up for birthday parties, parties, welcoming home parties, lunches, dinners, or whatever else you have planned.

Moving home has a lot of pro's and con's and I have considered them and out weighed my options and moving home seems the best for me right now at this stage of my life.

PRO's:

1. FREE RENT!

2. FREE FOOD!

3. FREE CABLE!

4. MEETING NEW FRIENDS AT THE SINGLES BRANCH!

5. GETTING A BETTER RELATIONSHIP WITH BOTH OF MY PARENTS!

6. LEARNING HOW TO MANAGE MY MONEY BETTER!

7. SEEING THE KIDS AND SOMETIMES BEING A BABYSITTER!

8. BEING A HELP TO MY MOM AND DAD AROUND THE HOUSE!

9. NOT AS BUSY OF A LIFESTYLE!

10. LEARNING HOW TO COOK MORE THINGS!

CON's:

1. NOT AS MUCH FREEDOM!

2. NOT WORKING AT MICHAELS!

3. DRIVING TO DELTA FOR WORK!

4. NOT SEEING THE MURPHY'S AS MUCH!

5. BEING ALONE!

So as you can see there is so much more GOOD than BAD when I move home. I am worried about the freedoms and curfews but its all about life and growing up. If you move back home, you have to obey the rules of the parents. So thats my BIG news... oh AND its going into effect this weekend (August 6-8).
