Sorry people, I've been super busy with LIFE happening that blogging has really just gone to the back burner! I'll do better.... promise!
A lot has happened since I last blogged. I started working as a checker at Jubilee (local grocery store) and I am loving it! I absolutely LOVE the people that I work with and the management is AWESOME! It's fun to see customers that I actually know and have grown up with all of my life. I even saw one of my friends that I hadn't seen since graduation (5 years ago) so that was fun too! I picked up really quickly on it, which I think is because of my 4 years of cashiering at Babies and Michaels. I'd probably be so lost if I didn't have those 4 years. It is a wonderful job and I truly love going to work every single day!
Chris and I broke up the first part of June. It was really hard for all of us, but with time the wounds will heal and we will be alright. I've been really sad about the whole ordeal as I'm sure he has but we're both adults and things happen that we may not expect (or that we may expect) but at the end of the day, it's about finding happiness and being truly happy with a person right? Right! Someday, we'll both be happy with someone else, but it just takes time.
I moved to Delta 3 weeks ago and I am loving it! I live with my best friend Jo Ann Jones at her sisters day care center. Yeah, I know... I tell people I live at day care and I get some pretty weird looks but it's nice. The kids are downstairs most of the time. They are upstairs for breakfast, lunch, and snack and then outside. I usually work 11-8 most days so, I will sometimes see the kids in the morning, if not hear them wake me up and then sometimes when I come home on my lunch break, and then they are all gone by 6pm. So it really works out that I live here. Also, it is 3 blocks away from the store, so it is so nice to be able to walk to work every day! It takes me about 7 minutes to walk to work, which is excellent! I don't have the car but Jennie and JD live close enough (1/2 block away from me) that I can just ask if I can use their car to go to the bank, grocery shopping, or run other errands. It's nice to have family close and willing to help you out. (Thanks so much Jennie!!)
I'm still attending the singles branch and I am still loving it! There's a TON of people that come to it this summer, which is really good!! I'm still the Family Home Evening Coordinator but I don't have a partner! (Uggghhh!!!) I've asked for one, because I usually work till 8 and FHE starts at 7, so I'm always late, which I hate! I hope that tomorrow they call me someone, cause I get stressed out every time!

Changes are hard some times but for the best. I am glad that you moved to Delta. It's great that you love your new job. Good luck on getting a partner.
